Now both the bathroom and kitchen microcement walls are finished. The bathroom, with all the angles and pipe spacing, was done by a professional and the blank straight wall surfaces in the kitchen were done by my own hands and my father's hands. Making the renovation work for you. If material choices have been made, then today I have been able to call myself a renovator too. This month's apartment events are locked down. One object that has caused a frenzy of enthusiasm is the rose quartz sink for the bathroom. This pink stone creation arrived at the apartment to await the completion of the bathroom. It was solidly packaged in a plywood box and now that the contractors were on site, we thought we'd take a peek at what the treat looked like. And oh my! A London perspective
Easter in London was quiet (!). It was a rare treat to walk down Piccadilly without a crowd. I had intended to soak up the trendiest interior design ideas in the big city, but many of the shops were closed. Of course, you can pick up ideas anywhere, so I kept my eyes open in restaurants and other places. I'm becoming increasingly aware of the use of raw wood as an interior design element, which I could see in many restaurant interiors and shop windows.
