My dream kitchen shows the spirit of the forest
Yes! A journalist puts my thoughts on the best of the kitchen into words. In the Home Dreams supplement of the Italian newspaper, you can read an interview about the renovation of our kitchen and its atmosphere after a year of use. I talk about how the wooden elements and DIY felt important and I talk about the microcement wall. I had always thought that wallpaper was a granny thing. Until, after our renovation, I started looking at the different types of wallpaper available! And I was completely seduced. You can find wallpapers with quite a variety of ideas: old board look, wild forest look, retro bicycle wall, pile of suitcases look, big rose look, urban landscape wall to wall look. A London perspective
Easter in London was quiet (!). It was a rare treat to walk down Piccadilly without a crowd. I had intended to soak up the trendiest interior design ideas in the big city, but many of the shops were closed. Of course, you can pick up ideas anywhere, so I kept my eyes open in restaurants and other places. I'm becoming increasingly aware of the use of raw wood as an interior design element, which I could see in many restaurant interiors and shop windows.
