I have noticed how many people are thinking about their need to reduce screen time and practical tips for doing so. Alongside my own mental strength, I offer a beautiful incentive.

The tree of rest is a wooden pedestal, on which the mobile phone can rest. When you let go and let your phone rest, your brain rests. This is a beautiful encouragement to allow yourself to be present. I put intention and energy of freedom and presence on each stand, and then I hope the user will do the same. With this shared intention, peace of mind and body is achieved.

The idea was born during a pivotal summer: connecting with nature without a mobile phone, swimming, sauna, yoga, making a fire, enjoying the sun and the company of friends made me realise that there is no clear place for a mobile phone.

Wooden panel made of solid brick is uniquely shaped like the original tree trunk. The edges of the base and the wooden knobs are painted in a shade that matches the wood. I always look to see what shade invites and evokes the wood in question. You can also wish to match the colour to your own interior, and I can make the product in the agreed colour. Each Levonpuu pedestal is unique. The surface is sanded smooth and waxed for durability, it can be easily cleaned by wiping with a damp cloth. If there are any dents or cracks in the substrate, I have melted dark wax into them to make the surface smooth. Sizes vary between 23x36cm, the stand will comfortably support one to four phones.
