A family of four needed bring comfort, cosiness and warmth to the living and dining room. We wanted to get rid of the massive mirrored cabinetry and find a solution to the clutter on the open shelves. The living room needed a cat-proof leather sofa with a divan section that was easy to vacuum underneath. A new place for the wall clock, with numbers on the clock to make it easy for a schoolchild to learn our concept of time. All the furniture could be replaced except the dining table chairs should be kept. Practicality would be important in the changes and the wish was to bring harmony with the colours, you were allowed to be bold in your suggestions for colours.
My view of the whole: create a warm atmosphere and bring the whole thing together with contrasts. The play of wood, black effects, tonal harmony, freshness, cheerfulness, these are the directions we are heading for.

Very lovely detail was that the family also wanted a photograph of my bamboo artwork printed on birch plywood for their living room wall. I took it with me to see the changes made to the home. To top off the design project, I was able to provide some photographic material for the wall <3
The changes seemed to and the family seemed to be really happy with everything new. Thank you to them!
