A family of four wanted a living and dining area that was cosy, homely and warm. They wanted to get rid of the massive mirrored cabinetry and find a solution to the clutter on the open shelves. The living room needed a cat-proof leather sofa with a divan section that was easy to vacuum underneath. Search for a hotel-like cosy atmosphere
Furniture suggestions were requested for the new home of the male homeowner, and the style was described as understated and hotel-like cosy. Colours or materials could include metal, diamond, gold, silver. An empty new home came to the drawing board, with a clean surface and no need for renovation, but tips and direction were needed to create the atmosphere. In search of bridges
Colour is a surprisingly big unifying factor in interior design, even if the rooms are different. I really fell in love with rose gold when I was choosing the taps, and by sprinkling a little bit of that colour on small details in different parts of the apartment, it's like an invisible bridge between them.
