The move has happened!

From now on we live in a new home. Reporting is now done from the new mattress in the living room, which is acting as a sofa for now. There's not much other furniture yet, but that doesn't matter much. Mostly on my mind is the rub from the renovation part of the bathroom, where the custom-made cabinetry is unfinished, which means the level can't be put in, which means the faucet and sink can't be used. The contractors left the job unfinished and it seems to be taking a century to get back to the site.

The apartment is spacious and bright. The kitchen is finished and the following pictures show the steps of the open shelving solution. If you're in the mood, I'd be happy to make you something unique to order!

The shitty boards were first cleaned with a metal brush. The master brushes and the kitty takes the picture. My father and I will do the woodwork until my own wings can carry.

Put the boards outside in the sunshine, because it's certainly more painful to sand them outside than in the garage.

Beautiful annual rings. I wonder which century is reproduced here?

First coat of paint applied. Oh, I love painting so much that I'm giggling while I'm doing it.

Here's room on the wall for a couple of shelves.

And then quite heavy boards attached to the brackets.
