Solid marble slab as a table top, old barn boards to frame the table top and a Superuniikki stamp on the side. Such a combo is my latest addition to the "unique furniture" category.
The idea came from a trendy on the use of marble material. For the marble slab, which was 30×30 cm, I looked for a suitable size for a finished small table underneath. I found a table ten centimetres larger than this in a furniture shop, leaving five centimetre spaces around the edges for the old board.
Table frame was ready and the actual table top was built with a unique combination of glossy surface and old board. The table top is cleverly removable, making it easy to transport and wipe away dust.
The most challenging point here was to saw the old boards into a mitre, so as to get a neat corner. Fortunately, my dad's chisel has angle grades so I had the option of sawing 45-degree pieces. And luckily, Dad still has the time to advise me on how to saw and what tools to use.

I asked in the general poll to see if it's worth spraying your feet a certain colour. The near-unanimous feedback was that black is best. However, if you want your feet any other colour, it is, despite the majority opinion, completely possible and free to choose and included in the price =)
I make these to order, price 290€. Dimensions: 40x40x height 62cm.
