Description

The table Wood_03 works as a coffee table/side table/lounge table/flower table/night table. This is the mother of Levonpuu products. The result of a unique project is this super-unique table. The table top is made of solid teak and the frame wood was carried from the shores of Lauttasaari. Without the idea for this table, no first Levonpuu product would have been created. This sparked the mind of the author, so much so that intuition sparked the creation of Levonpuu products.

A solid tree grows in the middle of the trunk, supported by roots made from the same wood. The roots have been turned to fit the life-shaped frame. Branches spring from the top of the trunk to support and secure the table top. The branches are beautiful cherry wood. The frame, roots and branches are stained in the same shade to give a complete effect. The holes in the table top have been filled by melting wax into them. The surface of the table is finely sanded and velvety to the touch. The whole is finished with a satin wax, making the surfaces splash-resistant. The surface is easy to wipe clean.
