SAVE MY CATCH: A tree!

I'm hooked on a tree. I've been touring the beaches and forests, scavenging for suitable branches and boards. So I just put a board on my shoulder and take the jogging path home really fast.

A few years ago I made some fun hooked nail holes out of twigs and now that whiteness is coming into fashion in interior design, I painted the wooden nail holes white with opaque paint. So natural shaped branches but with opaque white paint, a very fun combination it is!

For such small In addition to furniture, I'm also very interested in combining photography and wood, and a showroom-style example of this will be on display at the Makers café in Lauttasaari until next Thursday. These wooden paintings I'm going to show to anyone who wants them, because they are stunningly sweet unique paintings: each piece of wood has a different grain and appears in the background of the photograph, adding a new element to the picture.

Now that my interior design choices I'm looking around interior design shops and generally looking in the windows of different stores, and I notice how trendy wood is now. Such a raw wood feel, an old or untreated looking board, whoosh. The idea works for me and I'm going to make some personalised furniture myself for our new future home.
