A home turned into a studio, to test the lighting possibilities. The idea of creating a black and white image has been on my mind. The hallway in the hallway is dim enough to build a dark-black image. I hung a dark sheet behind the model, in front of the intermediate door in the hallway. I would also need dark sheets on the sides, so the white walls wouldn't reflect the light. For the light source, I used a ring light, which I placed in the toilet space and only let a sliver of light through the doorway into the hallway space, towards the model. I placed a reflector on one side of the model so that the type would not disappear into the darkness but would appear. Next time I could try bringing the reflector even closer or illuminate the other side more, now only the face is illuminated and the black shirt blends into the darkness. But, anyways, what a handsome model!
